Once the vehicle is purchased these are the steps that will need
to be taken.
1.
We will determine where in Canada the vehicle will be
delivered then determine what company will be moving the car.
2.
Once the car is booked with a Transport company we will
determine which border crossing and Customs broker we will use.
3.
At this time we will forward the correct information on
to the Customs Broker. There is a mandatory 72 hour processing
time for this paperwork.

4.
At the same time we provide the customer with the contact
info for the Customs broker. They will exchange information and
start the customs paperwork.
5.
Once this paperwork has cleared customs the vehicle can
be delivered into Canada.
Fees:
1.
Duty. All vehicles manufactured outside of North America
will have a 6.1% Duty fee.
2.
GST. All vehicles will have a 5% Goods and service tax.
3.
RIV. All vehicles will have a Registrar of imported
vehicles fee of $195.00
4.
Excise Taxes. All vehicles with Air Conditioning $100.00
Vehicles rated as
“Fuel-inefficient” would have a fee of $1000.00 to $4000.00

5.
PST. Provincial Sales Tax will apply to all vehicles when
you insure them. Tax rates differ from providence to
providence.
